In the coming weeks I plan to post TWO stories on the same subject at the same time each time I post.
One will be written by me, a human.
The other will have been generated, I can’t say written, by ChatGPT, aka Artificial Intelligence in the form of a Large Language Model.
I already know ChatGPT can create these articles many times faster than I can and do it with a lot fewer typos. I write without a net (no editor) on this blog while ChatGPT is a machine. Machines don’t make mistakes, right?
In my experiments with AI generating both articles and animated video, I can safely say that we, humans, are probably fucked.
ChatGPT is already taking jobs from copywriters. Other skilled jobs like coding software are likely to be taken over by AI.
Should the Hollywood studios manage to crush the writer’s strike it is almost certain that television shows and films will be written by AI and many of the actors and their voices will generated by AI as well.
When I publish these stories I’m not going to label which was done by AI and which was human written. But I don’t think it will be hard to tell the difference.
If capitalism can remove a human worker from any job or task to make more money, it will do so. The only problem for capitalism is machines, like AI, doesn’t spend or buy stuff and our capitalist system is based on consumer spending. Consumer are people and people without jobs can’t buy stuff.
ChatGPT took their jobs. Now they walk dogs and fix air conditioners.
Technology used to automate dirty and repetitive jobs. Now, artificial intelligence chatbots are coming after high-paid ones.
I’m a copywriter. I’m pretty sure artificial intelligence is going to take my job
My amusement turned to horror: it took ChatGPT 30 seconds to create, for free, an article that would take me hours to write

ChatGPT may be coming for our jobs. Here are the 10 roles that AI is most likely to replace.
They're coming to get you, Barbara!
